Cruise and Rides
We provide Hovercraft Cruise and rides on the Tawi River at Jammu, and our rides commence from our riverside camp located about 300 meters upstream of Sidra Byepass Bridge. A fair weather road right from where the bridge begins on Sidra side turns right to meet service road under the bridge which leads to the Camp.
The following are the kinds of rides offered by us:-
1. FUN RIDE: This is a basic hovercraft experience ride commencing from our camp to about 2.5 Kms down stream towards and passing under the Byepass bridge. Time taken to complete this ride is 7-8 minutes, depending upon the river flow conditions. Fare is Rs. 300/- per head. Minimum 2 persons booking is required.
2. SHORT CRUISE: This short cruise commences from our camp to about 4.5 Km down stream passing under the Byepass Bridge. Time taken to complete this ride is about 12-13 minutes depending upon river flow conditions. Fare is Rs. 500 per head. Minimum 2 persons booking is required.
3. HERITAGE CRUISE: This cruise commences from our camp to about 6-5 Km down stream passing under the Byepass Bridge, and showcases various cultural landmarks and structures of Jammu. Time taken to complete this ride is about 17-18 minutes plus time for photoshoot, depending upon river flow conditions. Fare is Rs.900 per head. Minimum 2 persons booking is required.
4. HAR-KI-PAURI CRUISE: This long cruise commences from our camp to about 12.5 Km down stream passing under the Byepass Bridge , goes till ahead of the famous Har-Ki-Pauri Temple situated beside the Tawi river at the foot of the Bahu Fort, and showcases various cultural landmarks and structures of Jammu. Time taken to complete this ride is about 32 minutes plus time for photoshoot, depending upon river flow conditions. Fare is Rs.1500 per head. Minimum 2 persons booking is required.
Booking Procedure:
You can book a cruise or a ride in advance online from this site by clicking on the 'Book Online' link, or through our information line telephone number +91-9796446778. You do not need to pay online for booking, but need to re-confirm through telephone 24 hours in advance. Please note that in case you do not appear within the specified time, the next in line, if present on site shall be given the time slot reserved for you.
Alternatively, tickets can be purchased on site of our riverside camp at Sidhra from where the rides and cruises commence.

Safety Features:

The Tawi River is by far the safest river in J&K for Hovercrafting owing to the fact that the water depth barely exceeds 4 feet during the season the hovercraft rides and cruised operate on it. |

In addition all the passengers mandatorily have to wear a life jacket for whenever cruising on Hovercraft. |

The pilots operators of the craft are trained well versed with operation and use of emergency equipment stowed in every hovercraft. |

Passengers are would do well not to wear any loose clothing, such as scarves, cloth headwear, andd other items that could possibly be drawn into the engine bay. |
What You Need to bring:

Eyewear (sunglasses / glasses) recommended year round |

Warm clothes, jacket, gloves spray jackets and the like are strongly recommended in winter |

Small personal cameras are welcome aboard the Hovercraft. The camera should preferebly be secured to the passenger so that it does not et drawn into the fan. |

For safety reasons, video cameras are not permitted aboard the Hovercraft |
Restrictions:

Minimum age 2 years old and all children must be accompanied by a fare paying adult. |
