It is very easy to reach the riverside camp of Magnus Hovercraft Adventures. Whether you are on a visit to Jammu City, transiting to the Kashmir valley, or passing through on a pilgrimage to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine at Katra, you will never miss the Hovercraft campsite. The site is just 3 kms ahead of the Jammu city on the National Highway that goes to Katra.
If you are proceeding from Jammu City: Reach Radio Station Chowk at Panjtirthi, take the byepass road to Nagrota, turn right towards the Sidhra Byepass Bridge from the first police check post, cross the bridge, travel about 100 meters and take a U turn to the left of the road which will take you under the bridge, turn right and travel another 400 meters till you reach the Hovercraft camp. The total time taken to reach the camp from radio station chowk should not take more that 6 minutes.
If you are proceeding from Katra: Take byepass road from the Nagrota police check point ( dont take road that goes through Jammu city), at the first T junction (at another police check post) turn right towards Sidhra Byepass Bridge,cross the bridge, travel about 100 meters and take a U turn to the left of the road which will take you under the bridge, turn right and travel another 400 meters till you reach the Hovercraft camp.
If you are coming from Punjab side and have taken the Byepass road to Katra or Kashmir, turn right about 100 meters short of the Sidhra Byepass Bridge and take the fair weather road ( 100 meters) that leads to under the bridge.Turn right and travel another 400 meters till you reach the Hovercraft camp.
PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR DIRECTIONAL BOARDS AND BANNERS ALONG THE ROUTE THAT INDICATE TOWARDS THE HOVERCRAFT CAMP.
